Photographer Kevin Dooley, 58, captured a heartwarming moment when a baby elephant slipped and fell while trying to step into a dust pit.
The lovely photos depict the young elephant’s stumble and its successful recovery to rejoin its herd.
Thankfully, the elephant was unscathed from the fall and continued to frolic in the dust, seemingly unfazed by the incident.
The tour guide, Kevin, recounted his experience: “We take our safari guests on daily wildlife adventures, and this baby elephant’s dust bath in the iron-rich red soil was a memorable sighting.”
